quilt design1
This is a design I got out of one of my wife's quilting magazines. It's so versatile because depending on how many colors you use and how you arrange them, you can make this design a million times, and it'll never look the same way twice.

These tiles werre hand made by the founder of Moravian Tile Works, Henry Chapman Mercer. The owner wanted to display them, and originally they were to be displayed in a 3x5 framed piece that I'll show after the tiles. However, he decided to display them this way, instead, in this bench. Keep in mind as you look at the detail of the tiles-- they WERE NOT STAMPED. They were hand made in the early 1900's.
